Concept portrait made only for fun and without references (except the flag), only using my imagination. Usually I draw the first sketch in a paper and then I scan it and I paint it with Photoshop. In this case, I did the sketch directly in a new PSD, so all the process is absolutly digital. For the facial expression, I was inspired by the old Santa Claus portraits by Norman Rockwell, with spicy smile and a pink shine in the cheek. I used Photoshop CS3 and my friendly Wacom Intuos 3 A4 with the traditional airbrush pen. I´m thinking about to prepare a making off PDF for my studients...
