One of the concepts I prepared while working with Unit 9 on an interactive website `Find your way to Oz`. The website, which promotes the Disney`s movie, uses new capabilities of HTML5 and Google Chrome. Visitors can navigate around the environment, try various attractions and eventually take an (almost fatal) balloon trip.

- I made this concept art for fun, for painting I used Photoshop and some of my custom made brushes. I spent around 1,5 days.

This is my entry for Tomb Rider Reborn Contest arranged by deviantart.com, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix.

I decided to work in this way, used so dark tones, because that is atmosphere of the current game, Lara is fell at beginning her journey, and we can see she looks broken... Clouds are gathering, and they looks like there a lot of barriers in her path further. But we can see also, she is holding a bow and there some clear sky at the corner, and then we got a hope that Lara doesnandrsquot giving up, this is just the point of reborn of the New Lara. Now actually I really like what happens with this franchise.

About inspiration, I think, this painting and way of presentation was inspired by seeing the pictures of William Turner.

It was completely painted in Photoshop, I used couple standard and couple my own brushes, no references, no photographs, just one layer painting. So, hope you like it
