finally i have found some time to finish this one, started from scratches and shapes in photoshop. I didn't have a precise idea when i have stated this illustration, i just want to work on the depth of the environment. I know that all is not very logical, but after all it's just a picture and not a realistic design

The name Golem (not to be confused with the character Gollum from Lord Of The Rings) refers to an animate creature in Jewish Folklore created entirely from inanimate matter. These creatures would be created to do the bidding of their masters, large, bulky, and powerful, usually they were mindless, took orders literally, and didn't speak. This one will be hard to explain ^^

I was very impressed by the last work of Eric Tranchefeux on Rembrandt.
As I was trying a new palete of skin tones inspired by William Bouguereau, I decided to make a feminine version of his autoportrait (yes, I know, I'm dispairing ^^).
So I had transformed this poor William in a mature bimbo (I'm a pin up drawer after all .D).

I've got no excuse ...

Photoshop CS2+ mouse+ wacom graphire 4 tablet about 30 hours.
Reference used for the lionsandrsquo head and the girls face. I also looked at many pictures of medieval saddle equipment and horses in general.

So, this is the first time I've touched Max in almost a year, haha. I've been living in LA for a little bit, and am reminiscing on the days when the weather actually had some variety, so I wanted to make a cold look to her. I'm just building up the demo reel a little more. I'm going to get around to finishing the body sometime, but for now this will have to do. I used various texture references from 3d.sk and cgTextures.
